Stainless Steel Bowl Cutters

Stainless steel bowl cutters are also referred to as a bowl chopper or buffalo chopper but they are all the same machine. Bowl cutters are a very versatile machine. You can chop meat or emulsify meat for sausage or ground meat with a different consistency you would get from a meat grinder. You can use a bowl cutter/bowl chopper to chop vegetables and make a great pico de gallo salsa, continue running the bowl cutter and make a more smooth, liquefied salsa, or stop the bowl chopper at any point in between and make a chucky liquid salsa.

Our German engineered bowl cutter has a stainless steel lid which cover the back half of the bowl and a hinged, plexiglass lid that allows you to lift it up while the bowl chopper is running to add spices, liquids, ice or other ingredients to the product, yet remains safe for the operator.

The stainless steel bowl cutter also comes with a temperature gauge in the lid that will show you the temperature of the product being processed. This is an important feature in a bowl cutter because of the speed the cutting knives turn. The three to six blades on a bowl cutter run between 1800 to 3600 rpms and could cause the product to get warm if not monitored.

The product bowl of our bowl choppers is made of molded stainless steel and it is very thick and heavy compared to some of our competitor’s “stamped bowl” on their bowl choppers. Our heavy duty molded bowl on our bowl chopper will not warp like a thin “stamped bowl” some of our competitors use.

Our bowl cutters also come with a grease zerk in the cutting shaft housing. Because of the high speed of our bowl cutters cutting knives, it is important to keep the internal shaft well lubricated. We also use high speed stainless steel roller bearings inside the cutting arm to help eliminate potential corrosion in this vital area. This is not always true with some competitors bowl cutters.

Our stainless steel bowl cutters use CE and UL certified electrical components and are USDA approved.
