Hygicontrol HC

The Hygicontrol HC is designed to operate where there is a high level of traffic both in and out of a facility. It’s designed to ensure effective sanitation of hands, and the soles of footwear upon entering the facility and facilitate cleaning of the soles of footwear upon leaving. Its twin lane system allow personnel to pass in either direction at the same time, so is therefore ideal in a factory with a large number of employees. The machine is constructed from 304 grade stainless steel, and is continuously welded with sloping surfaces to ensure a sanitary design. A stainless steel handrail on both entrance routes provides additional operator safety when walking through the unit. The machine comes complete with detergent injector system.
Operation of the Unit
To enter the production area the operator must step up and onto the unit where immediately their feet will be placed into a shallow bath in order to sanitise the soles of their footwear. The operator then steps up to the turnstile where they sanitize their hands, at this point the operator is now standing on a separate removable grid which is collecting any excess solution from their footwear and draining it into the main tank. The simultaneous insertion of both hands into the chambers activates the two internal sensors and the solution is released. After the hands have been sanitized the turnstile, which acts as a barrier, is released electronically and lets only one person through. Once that person has passed, the turnstile locks automatically and can only be passed by repeating the process.
Upon wishing to leave the production area the operator steps up to the exiting lane and a sensor mounted on the handrail initiates the start up of the sole cleaning brushes. For effective cleaning a mixture of detergent and water is delivered to the brushes. The operator then walks through the turnstile which will only freely rotate in the exiting direction. The machine is delivered ready to connect to power and water services. At the start of the day the bath is filled manually, but subsequent level control is monitored and adjusted automatically by means of a level sensor and solenoid valve. An injector system doses the detergent with fresh water at a ratio chosen by the customer. The unit can be effectively cleaned by the removal of the grids, allowing access to all tank areas.
