Double Buggy Washer (EC40)

The EC40 is an economical machine designed to wash and sanitize 400 or 600lb buggies and other larger volume containers of a similar design at a rate of 2 per cycle.

The machine comes guarded as standard, comprising of stainless steel mesh barriers and light sensors at the entrance. If these sensor beams are broken the cycle will stop. A remote mounted control panel is located to the front of the guarding, ensuring the operator has full view of the machine at all times when loading and unloading. The main control panel houses an operator interface where cycle times can be fully adjusted.

Operation of the Unit

The buggies are pushed onto the ramp and located in the lifting brackets. They are lifted into the machine by the operator depressing the green button. Once the door closes the wash cycle automatically commences. The wash cycle consist of a re-circulating pre-wash, re-circulating wash and final sanitizing rinse. An automatic rinse diverter system is employed to keep the detergent wash tank from being diluted with rinse water.
